GDPR Policy
We committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This notice sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.
The EU General Data Protection Regulation “EU-GDPR”, was established to protect the rights and freedoms of EU Citizens, with respect to their Personal Identifiable Information and defined who and how their data could be used and retained by organisation around the world. On 24th May 2018, the UK Government approved the updated Data Protection Act known as Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018). DPA 2018, was a complete rework of the original ‘Data Protection Act’ of 1998 and incorporated into it, were all the clauses from the “EU-GDPR” and this legislation, therefore, became the basis upon which “Data Protection” would be judged within the United Kingdom. As the result of Brexit and with effect from the 1st Jan 2021, the UK stopped being part of the EU and hence the “EU-GDPR” cease to protect the rights and freedoms of UK Citizens regarding their Personal Information. To prevent this becoming the case, the UK Government published an update to the DPA 2018 called the ‘Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communication. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
For the purposes of data protection legislation in force from time to time the data controller is Classic Car Merch
